Selected images from my work as a Conservation Land Manager on a 22 acre Conservation Easement in Northern Illinois. Restoration goals for this site included removal of invasive species and increasing diversity of native species in the prairie, riparian and woodland zones. Extensive work was done to characterize diversity, manage invasive species and increase species richness through seed augmentation and out-planting.

Ecological services provided at this site included:

  • Site Analysis & Mapping
  • Floristic Quality Assessment
  • Native plant propagation (seed, root stock, cuttings)
  • Seed collection, processing and storage
  • Invasive species removal
  • Out-planting and seed augmentation
  • Prescribed Burn
