LAUREN AUDI | CHLOROSOMA

I am a plant biologist, conservation geneticist and ecological designer. My work uses comparative phylogenomic, systems biology and ecological genomics approaches to study wild species. I aim to contribute to ecological stewardship and the bioengineering of sustainable solutions to agriculture, climate change and plant conservation.

You can learn more about my research here.

I also spend time making things inspired by my botanical work. Chlorosoma is an amalgam of the latin words for “green” and “body.” Its the name I’ve given to the diverse projects (fruiting bodies?) that have emerged from my mycelium of interests in natural history, ecological stewardship, and DIY creation.
